” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” Luke 10:27
It is my earnest desire that men should have peace and goodwill toward each other. But they cannot give away what they do not own. In order to have that peace and goodwill with each other they have to come to me to receive it. I am the giver of all good things and I generously give to all those who come and ask in sincerity. But they must believe that I am and that I am a rewarder of those who diligently seek me.
And when they come to me, I will give them so much more than they ask for, I will give them myself. Isn’t that what I did when I sent my only, beloved Son away from heaven to live there with you? Didn’t I give you my very best in order to show you how much I love you? In my Word, John 17:23, I tell you that I love you as much as I love my Son Jesus.
But you don’t believe it. You won’t receive it. You keep trying to earn my love and my forgiveness when I’ve already given it to you. Jesus told you on the cross that “it is finished.” All you have to do is receive it. Why is that so hard for you?
I know that every religion on earth is based on works, that the more good you do, the higher you move up. But I’ve already done everything when I gave my Son! All I want from you is a relationship, to love me as a true Father, to honor me as your Father and walk and talk with me.
I sent Jesus to show you that it is possible for you as a human being to be what I created you to be. I’m God. I know all things. So I know what is possible for you to do and what is not possible for you to do. I also tell you in my Word that my yoke is easy and my load is light. I will never give you more than you can handle. But you keep trying to do it yourself and in your way and it is so very hard for you.
But I’m here waiting, patiently, for that day when you will finally get tired of it all and cry out to me for help. And I will help you. Why not call me now? I’ll answer. I always answer the prayers of those who seek me in truth and sincerity. I’m waiting to help you receive the peace and goodwill with me and with mankind that you so desperately want. Then you will have the best life of wholeness and purpose that I designed for you.
With All My Love,
